The bigot Moore

Peace be with you

The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism – ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any controlling private power.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Benito Mussolini said, “fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” With the recent supreme court decision on corporate campaign financing we see a better view of the merger of corporate and state power. What is a little less clear is the increase in eugenic rhetoric spoken by the pundits of fascism.

Today the AP ran a story about Andre Bauer, South Carolina’s lieutenant governor, and candidate for governor. He reportedly told a crowd at a town hall, “My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed! You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that.”

Obviously this Malthusian statement is equal to the Nazis “useless feeder” theory. It shouldn’t surprise us to find some cousin kissing hillbilly from South Carolina still embraces the rhetoric of the KKK, but what is the real face of the neo-nazis?

Locally we have Michael Moore, a weekend DJ on KHUM, who runs a pro eugenics blog called “Arcata can be better,” If you go to his blog you will find a bunch of pictures of vehicles which he claims are “transients.” He was so enamored by a letter on Tom Seborn’s blog that he reproduced the letter in his “Arcata can be better” bigots blog, with the title, “I don’t know who “A” is, but damn if he didn’t nail it on the head!”

What A said among other things is, “I am one of the people who believes “that if we don’t feed them and allow them to sleep that the problem will just go away”, and good riddance.” Though Moore’s, a man of color no less, entire hate blog reeks of nazi rhetoric, the above quote, which Moore agrees with whole heartily. is right out of Mein Kampf.

How can anyone claim that Arcata is progressive? Everyone needs to get hold of KHUM’s management and tell them that either Moore’s bigoted blog goes, or Moore goes. Below is a list of contacts for KHUM. Contact the radio station and complain about there classist DJ. Arcata can be better, but first we need to stop the neo-eugenicists.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH… oh man, you streched this one a bit far my groovey rainbow crystal brethren.

Corporatism is in fact taking a tighter control on this country, and your references are valid and we should be prepared to take up arms, but picking on little Mikey and trying to connect him with nazi rhetoric… no man… doesnt wash.

Now, my crystal wash, that was something to be proud of. Mikey is just tired of the slack that your people take up.. you see, we have to be the ones to provide you the slack that you live on… and most of us would like to slack off ourselves but we cant cause your hoggin all the slack. so cut it out.

  2. Mr. Nice Says:

That blog shows a local business owner’s bus and claims it to be an eyesore. Michael best recognize that bus has been here longer than he has.

Dude must be jealous of sick old school buses.

Peace be with you Billy bob

How do you “provide the slack [I] live on?” I heard that shit from idiots like you for years, yet to date no one can show how I get your “slack.” Its bullshit, and that means your bullshit too. In fact I pay for Moore’s use of my public airwaves.

I realize that only those with eye that can perceive will see the plagiarism of nazi rhetoric. I also realize that you may have been one of the many called, but definitely not one of the few chosen. For every hitler or stalin there were thousands of Michael Moores out spreading the propagandist poison. Before you consider “taking up arms” perhaps you should consider who your true enemy is.

Tad- share the love, pass the foodstamp card, and chill out with your badself. Tell me what you do to better the community, for it is that slack you so devour in your void to be better that has me taken aback.

Try to share your wealth, try to push beyond what you perceive to be, in your own chapel perilous. We walk among you. BlessedB.

Damn your one condescending fucker aren’t you. I already said that you provide me no “slack” including food stamps.

What I do, which you would know about if you lived in my town, is I fight for those who are being targeted by Your, and Moore’s hate mongering. Though you may walk among us today, Jesus said we would always have the poor. He said nothing similar about the rich.

    Tad,

So what would you have us do? Quit our jobs? Give all our money to you? I’m curious, you’re really fast to knock down anyone on here, but I’m still not sure what your positive message is. We all hate the evils of capitalism (or most of us do), but that’s where we find ourselves. Should we walk away from our houses? Should we walk away from our families? Should we stop paying the rent or the morgage? Should we stop working? Then who would grow the food?

I do see all the problems with the system. I just don’t have the solutions, maybe bits, but it’s a big complex problem here: economics, poverty, population, war, environment… all intertwined. What do you propose?

  7. theplazoid Says:

    Peace be with you J

Yes your right, the only real solution is to have enough people quit this insanity. Until that happens us who are stronger should at least make an attempt to protect the weaker from those who take unwarranted privilege. Not everyone has a mortgage, let alone a house, to walk away from. Father loves all his children, especially the poor.

For instance, go to Moore’s bigot blog and look for a bus he calls the white whale. The person who normally lives in it is dying. He probably has very little time. Prior to the very long stay in the hospital he is just finishing, he was constantly harassed by the police since his bus ended up in Moores blog.

It only takes a minute or two for you to contact KHUM and tell them that you don’t support members of our community that attack other members of our community. Nazi germany started out doing many of the things I write about here. Left to continue unchallenged these ideologies evolve into a society that murders its own members. It has and is happening all around the world.

I propose that you stand up against the ideology that some of our community don’t have the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you are unprepared to do this then you should work on yourself until you get to the point you are. The positive message is that together we can reverse all of this by local action. If people looked around where they lived, then worked to solve those local manifestations of these global problems then collectively we would solve all the global problems at the local level. When Bush or Obama make policies it is our local governments which implement them. It is there that we should stop it.

What ever you do, do something. Apathy is no defense.

We are geared more to what Italy turned into with corporatism but that is picking neither here nor there. You are an eager foot soldier, and the one I serve has instructed me to get you more information.

  9. David De Rothschild Says:

I for one would like to thank Mr. Moore to standing up to the useless eaters like yourself Theodore. For far to long the homeless have sucked at the teat of society and given nothing in return. It is high time the wealthy and the elite took by force what the homeless have so that society can benefit. Of course the only thing the homeless have are their pitiful lives which should be ened as soon as possible so as to protect the resources of the wealthy and elite!

  10. J Says:

    Tad,

While I appreciate the need for compassion, and would like to have a safety net for all of us, I still don’t see how you expect us all to stand up.

I also don’t think Mr. Moore is the problem. I also don’t think KHUM should be held responsible for what an employee does outside of work. So I’m not about to call. I think this is just a personal rant of yours.

You say, “Stand up”. Well I am, standing up as an adult and pulling my own weight, doing the best I can in the current state of society. I’m busting my ass to keep a roof over my family. It’s not easy. I’m doing my best in this corrupt world to be a person of character, and I see most of the people around me doing the same. I’m really not seeing any evil people. We’re all just doing the best we can, on the left and the right.

I’m still not sure what you’re arguing for here. Shelters? Soup kitchens? Clothes? How should society function? Are you arguing for socialism, communism, anarchy, monarchy? And I’m serious here, because I don’t see the solution. But you are very vocal about what’s wrong, so you have to propose what’s right.

Please, don’t repeat the vague “act locally to bring about global change”. We need specifics, and then we need to really think about them. This isn’t some easy problem.

If I seem harsh it is because you are speaking here with a very authoritative voice, calling out evil. You are calling for compassion, then not showing compassion for the very same people you are asking for compassion from.

  12. David De Rothschild Says:

Tad, here’s a solution. Round up the homeless, put them in FEMA camps. Then sell the majority to China and other 3rd world nations as slaves. Take the children and either sell them into slavery or prostitution. Any homeless that is too old or disabled to work shall recieve a bullet to the head and of course their family will be billed for the cost of the bullet and the time of the executioner. Either you trully take care of your own OR completely disown them and throw them to us elites to do with as we please.

No more rhetoric Tad! No more emotional blackmail. Get a job, a house, a car and live like a normal human being or drop dead.

  13. theplazoid Says:

Brother you could be so much more.

“My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed! You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that.”

“that if we don’t feed them and allow them to sleep that the problem will just go away”

Great post “J” I find myself in the same frame of mind as yourself. Where are the practical solutions? I feel that speaking out is a good exercise, but it accomplishes little. Voting is a joke. Working for change though spending is one good idea. But most will never overcome the propaganda of commercialism. People want more and more. Eventually people will take up violence. But that won’t happen until enough people who are used to being respected in the capitalist society; become disrespected and downtrodden. It’s never the poor who fight in revolutions, it’s the betrayed middle class. And so far, our middle class is too busy watching American Idol, to see their futures sold to China, while their present is to work two jobs, pay outrageous amounts of money for intangible products, like insurance, interest, medical bills, college costs. State, Local, Federal, County, City taxes. I say they are intangible, because there is no real, solid thing there. it’s all abstract. Do you really think that tax money is spent on anything other than military? Or any of the other tools of oppression?
One thing would help get the attention of the Ruling Class, A national strike. And also retail strikes, work strikes. We the people are being taken advantage of at an astronomical level. I don’t call for violence, but if we can’t get some relief for the common working families in this country, then violence will happen eventually. And that won’t be good for anybody.

I am still working on an answer to some of your questions. After about 10,000 words I decided to try and reduce it a bit. A lot of the answer is in the archived pages of this blog.

Not everyone has the same opportunities you have. I am saddened to hear you’re “busting your ass.” but that tells me your close to homelessness yourself. How many more bubble bursts can you and yours survive? One out of six people in this country don’t make enough money to survive, this can not be cured simply by insisting people “get a job.”

Though I agree a general strike would do a lot towards waking up the privileged, I also believe speaking up does a lot in its own right. I’ve seen large crowds turn legislation around. If the large crowds would ever sustain their pressure they would change society, but the only ones who sustain the numbers are those wanting the status quo.

I will get a post out about how I believe society should function. Hopefully I can get down to a more readable size first.
