Oh shit!, another Homeless Plan

Peace be with you

Humboldt County Board or Supes recieved an “update” on where tax-payer’s $70,000 “ten year county plan to end chronic homelessness” is currently at. Like all the “chronic homeless plans,” already the lines between “chronic homeless,” and “homeless in general” are intentionally clouded. Why do two ideas keep getting used interchangeably? One just needs to look back at Phillip Crandall’s comments about, doping 1 out of 4 of Humboldt County’s residents; or that up to 100% of kids in juvenile offender placement have “enough of a mental-health issue to require mental health related treatment or services;” or “[a]mong the estimated 2,000 homeless adults approximately 80% of the adults suffer from mental health issues; approximately 90% suffer from substance abuse,” then his view that all homeless “need” his “mental health related treatment” (also known as: antipsychotics) might explain the intentional confusion.

The Humboldt County plan will be written not by HSU consultants like the Arcata plan was supposed to be, but by Rob Amerman. You may remember Rob as the quisling little fuck who said “I’ll put [Arcata Homeless Task Force Meetings] on the air,” when he ran Arcata’s community television channel. Of course not only didn’t he air those meetings, he acted towards all the non-tv owning homeless like he had.

The next phase of the “plan” is to outreach to cops, busyness owners, and general homeless bigots like we saw in the Arcata plan. Though Amerman needs to “collect data on homelessness,” the homeless will only get a censored voice in the process which ultimately will fuck them. The laws requiring input from the homeless are kinda like a treaty – pick a couple of people who will see things your way, appoint them “chief according to you,” and say “they all agree, ‘chief according to me’ signed the treaty.”

I am willing to bet that this plan will include the need for more case managers, and mental health workers to go out and round up homeless and put them on antipsychotics to poison them slowly. Studies show that use of antipsychotics shortens peoples lives by an average of 15 years!, and homeless already lived an average of 10 years less then their housed counter part.

George W. Bush been planning this “ten year chronic plan” since launching his “Chronic Homeless Initiative” in 2001. Since then things have only gotten worse. More homeless, more aggressive police, less direct aid, and a growing group of poverty pimps and grant whores getting rich off “chronic homeless,” and “mental health” tax-dollars, all while disenfranchising the very homeless they claim to help. A responsible government would spend their money solving the problems that cause the “drug addiction,” the “mental illness,” and the “homelessness,” but here “responsible government” seems to be an oxymoron.

Only the most brainless troll could disagree with your points, Tad. The huge drain on tax payers that the hordes of service industry mental workers have created comes at the additional expense of the people that could be helped into self sustaining existence.

The rise of the self serving “service industry” to replace the real jobs that have been shipped over seas, automated or disappeared due to the resultant decline in the economy are just another make show “fix” made with yet more borrowed money. The harm they do now to those that need help or need to be left alone will be more than matched by the hell to pay when the debt comes due.

It’s weird how Anon.R.Mous mixed Auschwitz’s slogan, “work makes you free,” with Jesus’ slogan “the truth will set you free.” He must be one of those catholic nazis.

It will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. “The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Fresno Homeless Residents Win Settlement Over City’s Destruction of Personal Property
$2 Million Judgment for Unlawful Seizure “Unprecedented”

FRESNO – United States District Judge Oliver W. Wanger gave preliminary approval today to a $2.35 million dollar class-action settlement between a class of hundreds of homeless Fresno residents and the City of Fresno and the California Department of Transportation. The court had already determined that Fresno’s practice of immediately seizing and destroying the personal possessions of homeless residents violates the constitutional right of every person to be free from unreasonable search and seizure. The homeless plaintiffs in the lawsuit, Kincaid v. Fresno, were represented by a team of attorneys from the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California (ACLU-NC), the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights (LCCR) and the law firm of Heller Ehrman LLP.

My technique: when watching television news, shut off the sound
and just look at the pictures of government leeches(oops, I mean
workers) making an ass of themselves.
Who needs comedies, when the entire “news program”
is such a laugh, every night.

If you want to avoid being manipulated by television
“news” shows, then turn off the sound.
It’s kinda difficult at first, but ease into it.
    adjust the sound from 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.

It works ! Peace and quiet and free entertainment
put on by government and media leeches, manipulators,
smarmy know-it-all, too clever by half arses !!!!!

    4. Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness

“Buy on apples, sell on cheese” is an old proverb among wine merchants. Taking a bite of an apple before tasting wine makes it easier to detect flaws in the wine, and the buyer who does so will not

as easily make the mistake of paying more than the wine is worth. Cheese, on the other hand, pairs well with wine and enhances its flavor, so a seller who offers cheese may command a higher price for the wine (and may even deserve it, if the wine is intended to be drunk with cheese). The proverb captures important psychological nuances of choice.

The same product – a bottle of wine or a risky medical
    procedure – may be perceived
differently depending on its context, and it is often possible
to arrange the context to influence a choice
while still maintaining the decision maker’s autonomy.
