Your so right. It’s funny how much people today compare the economy to the 1930s. “We haven’t seen these trends since the 1930s,” they say. Does anyone remember what was happening in this country in the 30s. Let’s see depression, fascism, deregulation, and lots of human misery. Even so-called social workers are talking like the Nazis did in the 30s.

People realize how precarious their own situations are, yet they believe the hype about mental health causing homelessness not deregulation. “Care not cash” programs are taking food out of the mouths of the hungered and putting it into the bank accounts of pharmaceutical corporations, and high paid social workers. Humboldt county is an experimental mental health county trying to replace lumber jobs with mental health jobs.

Ol’ POP’em’s stormtroopers beat Martin Cotton to death and before there was even an inner department investigation Garr swore that Martin would be found with meth (or at least PCP) in his system and that his goons acted properly. Every homeless person in Eureka knows that was a bullshit cover-up for what they described to me as the worst beating any of the homeless witnesses had ever seen.

Its the same murder spree, it just had three different “chiefs.”

I’m disgusted by the way homeless people are treated in the U.S. but because I live in Humboldt I am particularly offended by how few people will actually do anything about what’s going on right here! People care more for animals than they do people here. The non-profit shelter pgms are just in existence so that cities and county can get CDBG grants and most of the employees care so little for the people that are the reason they have a job that it sickens me.
I virtually have no hope that any type of government can help poor people in this county. Times are getting harder and if I’m reading the signs of the times well we’re headed for some ugly days and nights on the streets! It will take a change of heart for people to care and only God knows how that will be accomplished! God help us!

Anyone who those murderers in blue targets can’t be half bad.
I just hope he doesn’t use Neville Chamberlin as a role model again.

SF is playing musical chairs, GA who are the craziest are getting the housing, people who are just getting by are more likely to be homeless. The newly housed drug addicts are turning their places into drug dens, while the newly homeless find themselves in a situation likely to cause despair and anxiety. If there were serious programs to rezone, build more units, and aid relocation to other places, that would be great. Instead, housing people the least likely to change, while causing vulnerable people to become more desperate and thrust into the hard drug using groups of the SF homeless.

Modoc sherrif responded to a move out order and Ronald Duane Doggett was tazered in his own home resulting in his death. then they brought him back to life to be tazed to death two more times in jail. He did survive and was later taken to Napa State hospital and put back on his Meds that he had been on for 20 years..

Mental health is the cause of homelessness? or drugs the cause of mental health? Is the homeless going to lose their freedom and get drugs forced on them?.
I don't get it.
But I tell you what I do get.My childhood friend David Hendrickson (age 17) told us that he was going to jail for two pot plants.1973 and violation of probation. (he had earlier been with a boy who had caused a fire in the Marin County courthouse.
He had been in jail earlier and had admitted to pretending to be crazy so he could go to Napa State and watch TV and such.
Well one time, they shot him up with Thorazine and he had a paradoxical response. where instead of calming him down, it made him sick and combative. So they just gave him more, even though he is sensitive to it. he could not talk and he wet himself for the next two years.they had him tied up. Now since July 1973 he is still in Napa State. His original sentence was
two years. And as of 2003 they were still giving him Thorazine. Plus about 5 or 6 other drugs.
They say he cannot get out cus he has brain damage. But when I get there before his lunch medicine he is coherent. Tells me he has been their since July 1973 and talks fine. talking about the medical mafia
