The annual DEA grant for the Sheriff’s “eradication of marijuana” is coming up at Tuesday’s Supes meeting. This year’s $180,000 is a $5,000 increase over last year’s amount. Of course the supes accepted an additional $20,000 from DEA after they raided our County last year bringing the total up to $195,000.
With the DEA raiding medical marijuana clinics just weeks after it claimed it wouldn’t do that any more, isn’t it time we break those ties? Like with any grant we promise to whore in exchange for cash, and its never the Supes who are the ones getting fucked.
